Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• Service: EU Company Check, offered via companycheck.info
• Provider: Woon IoT BV, Chamber of Commerce 76066843, Achterzeedijk 57 unit 40, 2992SB Barendrecht, The Netherlands
• User: Any natural or legal person using the Service
• Premium: Paid access to all features for 30 days

2. Applicability

These terms apply to all use of the Service. By using the Service you accept these terms.

3. Services

EU Company Check provides:

• VAT number validation via EU VIES
• Sanctions screening via OpenSanctions
• EORI validation via EU database
• LEI lookup via GLEIF
• IBAN validation
• PDF reporting

4. Free and Premium

• Free: 2 checks per month (VAT + Sanctions)
• Premium: €15 for 30 days unlimited access to all checks including PDF download and email reports

Premium is a one-time payment, not a subscription. After 30 days, Premium status expires automatically.

5. Payment

• Payment is processed via Stripe
• Prices are exclusive of VAT for B2B customers within the EU with valid VAT number
• Prices are inclusive of VAT for consumers and businesses without valid VAT number

6. Right of Withdrawal

Because the Service is delivered digitally immediately after payment, you waive the 14-day right of withdrawal. You agree to this when placing your order.

7. Availability

We aim for 99% availability but cannot guarantee this. The Service depends on external data sources (EU VIES, GLEIF, etc.) over which we have no control.

8. Disclaimer and Liability

Important:

• The Service is a due diligence tool, not legal advice
• Results are based on external data sources and may be incomplete or outdated
• User remains responsible for compliance decisions
• IBAN validation checks technical validity, not the link to a specific company

Provider is not liable for:

• Damages from incorrect or incomplete results
• Indirect damages, consequential damages or lost profits
• Damages from unavailability of external data sources

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by User in the 12 months prior to the damage.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Service, software and documentation belong to Woon IoT BV. User receives a limited, non-exclusive right of use.

10. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR.

11. Termination

We may terminate accounts for:

• Misuse of the Service
• Violation of these terms
• Fraudulent behavior

12. Changes

We may modify these terms. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam.
