Why Verify UK Companies?
After Brexit, UK companies are no longer part of the EU single market. This makes due diligence even more important when trading with UK businesses. Verify that your UK trading partner is legitimate before signing contracts or shipping goods.
Red Flags to Watch
- Company status "dissolved" or "in liquidation"
- Very recent incorporation date
- Registered address is a PO Box or virtual office
- Company type doesn't match their claims
